The Aerpro CBA6F1L 6.0dBi 477MHz Silver Elevated Feed UHF Antenna is compatible with most brands of 477MHz UHF Radios. With 6.0dBi gain, this medium-high gain antenna is an excellent all-round performer, delivering an elliptical radiation pattern that is more focused toward the horizon compared to lower gain antennas, extending communication range across open country, highways and regional roads. The tighter radiation pattern makes it ideal for long distance communication in flat to moderately varied terrain such as highways, open farmland and regional Australia.
The 945mm antenna features a quality fibreglass whip mast secured to a heavy duty stainless steel spring, engineered to handle the demands of trucks, 4WDs and heavy machinery operating in harsh conditions. The elevated feed design raises the radiation pattern above the vehicle roofline and surrounding obstructions, ensuring maximum performance when mounted on a bull-bar or similar elevated position.
The antenna is ground independent, providing a stable radiation pattern regardless of the mounting surface. It is pre-fitted with 4.9 metres of RG58 coaxial cable terminated with an FME connector for easy routing through firewall grommets. An FME to UHF PL259 adaptor, mounting nut and installation spanner are all included for a complete and hassle-free setup.
